Antipredator behavior in the rock-paper-scissors model

چکیده
When faced with an imminent risk of predation, many animals react to escape consumption. Antipredator strategies are performed by individuals acting as a group intimidate predators and minimize the damage when attacked. We study antipredator prey response in spatial tritrophic systems cyclic species dominance using rock-paper-scissors game. The impact behavior is local, predation probability reducing exponentially number preys predator's neighborhood. In contrast standard Lotka-Volterra implementation model, where no spiral waves appear, our outcomes show that leads patterns from random initial conditions. results decreases level strength. Finally, we investigate coexistence verify may jeopardize biodiversity for high mobility. Our findings help biologists understand ecosystems formed whose behave strategically resist predation.

Using DSHM to Model Paper, Rock, Scissors
Dynamically Structured Holographic Memory (DSHM) is architecture for modeling memory. It was originally designed to account for long-term memory alone. However, the current model of Paper, Rock, Scissors (PRS) play (and Rock=2 PRS play) provides evidence that DSHM can be used to model tasks where the truth of facts change quickly and dynamically.

The Multi-modal Rock-Paper-Scissors Game
The multi-modal rock-paper-scissors game is an interactive computer game where the opponent of the human player is a virtual agent appearing on the computer screen. The game is similar to the game between humans, the communication takes place by the tools of image and sound processing.
متن کاملRock-paper-scissors Meets Borromean Rings
Directed graphs with an odd number of vertices n, where each vertex has both (n − 1)/2 incoming and outgoing edges, have a rich structure. We were lead to their study by both the Borromean rings and the game rockpaper-scissors. An interesting interplay between groups, graphs, topological links, and matrices reveals the structure of these objects, and for larger values of n, extensive computatio...
